![]() ![]() Surface, just like iPad, is depending on touch and gesture input. Using Dial sitting in my sofa is no good idea. The Dial was designed with Studio in mind, not Surface, I guess. I am aware of that Dial thing, but since Surface Pro is a tablet, not only used on (or mostly not) on a table top, the Dial is no alternative to a well designed UI. In case you're not aware, Affinity Photo and Designer already support the Microsoft Surface Dial, which is hardware-based way to get that function. Thanks for bringing the tilt question up! :) have I missed something, is the a tilt setting in Affinity? Like in ClipStudio where I just click the "tilt" in the brush editor and there it is. In all my other painting / drawing software I can set "tilt" for every brush. One reason I have stopped using Affinity Photo for bitmap illustration is the no-tilt bitmap brushes, at least I can not find it. I know y'all are probably working on this already. I spent a week organizing half of the brushes I have because moving them around inside Affinity Photo stalled and crashed the program over and over. I am a digital hoarder when it comes to collecting brushes. Tilt and flip shape option would be very helpful too . We need better brush organization options and a brush history recording panel - or at least keep the brush we are using highlighted so we don't have to go through several brushes to relocate brush we were using. Please make an auto-clean paint mixer brush button and/or give us a hotkey to clean the brush. Please Serif! Do something! I am tired of waiting. Still, it is great on the Surface tablet. ![]() I bought Fresco yesterday to try out the full version, but that is not for my desktop, Fresco is touch screen tablets only. Serif has to get working on satisfying us Surface users or Affinity users will turn back to the Adobe ecosystem. Or Leonardo! Or Adobe Fresco! Or the oldtimer Sketchbook.! ![]() There must be a quick way of adding some UI elements to get things better working in Affinity, like the ClipStudio has. There is an app "Radial Menu" that helps me using Affinity on Surface, still it is not the very best solution. The Dial is just for desktop work, not when you are in some other place. I can have the keyboard as attached, but then I lose the closeness to the screen as the tablet mode is meant to be. Year after year there has been a request for some change, but no, Affinity/Serif does not listen, probably because they have no interest in us Surface Pro users (or any other Win Tablet users). I have my third generation of Surface tablet/computer. This is an ongoing request from Surface Pro users, the UI of Affinity apps are not made for the tablet mode. ![]()
